Video: Renew Your Body This Spring
In this video, I will lead you through a brief movement technique called a movement story. This will help boost your mood, clarify your goals, and renew your body this spring.
First, think of three things you enjoy, appreciate, want to accomplish, or want to experience this spring. You can be abstract or very specific. For example, I want to grow in my professional and personal life, appreciate and find the light in dark moments, and I want to go outside for walks to feel the warmth from the sun and appreciate the warmer spring weather.
After naming three goals or appreciations of spring, create three movements or gestures to symbolize each item.
Then, put all the movements into a simple movement phrase.
After you have created a unique movement story, encourage your family to create one too. You can practice the movement phrase before bed, when you wake up, or whenever you need a little boost of energy this spring.
